Anna Kendrick is an American actress and singer. She began her career acting in theater productions at a young age. Her first starring role was in the Broadway musical High Society, for which she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. During her career, she has also been nominated for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Her performance in 2009’s Up in the Air earned her international fame and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other prominent roles include the films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Twilight Saga, Pitch Perfect, Into the Woods, and Trolls.
Anna has sang on various soundtracks for her films and in 2016, published a memoir called Scrappy Little Nobody.
